2019—Vancouver, BC

One of Vancouvers’ favourite pilates studios, Lagree West focuses on empowering the community through high intensity work outs that transform and strengthen the body. To celebrate the opening to the Main St. Location, I was asked to create 3 interior murals that would reflect the Lagree values, and invite social media interaction with their clientele. In order to achieve this, I placed their slogan - “You Have What It Takes, But It Will Take All You Have” in the entrance hallway to inspire clients as they enter the space. Once they are in the studio, they are met with Missy Elliots' “Is It Worth It? Let Me Work It” to reflect the element of music that each high-energy class entails. The text is intertwined amongst abstract illustrations that reflect flow and movement. Enriching the space and bringing an element of play to the new studio.
